Mentors and Experts in Residence

Mentors and Experts in Residence contribute to the life of Presidio Graduate School and its extended communities by immersing in the school’s regular teaching and learning activities, participating in conferences and programs, and working with our students. To continue building the reach and scope of PGS’s MBA, MPA, and Dual Degree Programs, the Mentor and Expert in Residence Programs bring public sector, non-profit, and industry sector expertise to our students, faculty, and alumni community. They are selected from among practitioners and thought leaders in the discipline of sustainable development.

How and where will you see our mentors and experts in action?

  • Coaching students and student teams
  • Guest lecturing during and in between residencies
  • Leading a symposium or seminar series for students and alumni
  • Consulting with faculty members and students on research and projects
  • Providing expertise in Presidio faculty development seminar
  • Collaborating on research and writing under the auspices of Presidio

Past Mentors and Experts

Past mentors have included best-selling author Van Jones and Rahul Raj, former Director of Sustainability & Merchandising Innovation at Walmart.com

Past experts have included Erin Cooke, Sustainability Manager for the City of Cupertino and Co-Chair of Joint Venture Silicon Valley's Public Sector Climate Task Force.
