Bio
Marsha is a teacher in multiple sustainable MBA programs, the author of over seven sustainability and business books, and a consultant with almost 30 years of experience in the field. Certified sustainability professional through the USGBC-SEA credential. Co-founder and former Executive Director of the International Society of Sustainability Professionals. Outside of teaching, Marsha assists organizations in the transition to a participative and sustainable operation through training, consulting, assessment, and meeting facilitation. Marsha has provided services for organizations such as Genentech, Fitbit, AAA Northern California, Nevada, and Utah, Carollo Engineers, Cascade Corporation, Schwabe, Williamson and Wyatt law firm, the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, City of Portland, City of Hillsboro, City of Corvallis, Department of Environmental Quality, Washington Department of Ecology and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. Marsha has co-authored two sustainability-related books: The Business Guide to Sustainability (2006, 2010, 2015) and The Step by Step Guide to Sustainability Planning (2008).
