Chris Wong, C32

For the past 10+ years, Chris has focused his career on brand management/consumer marketing, predominantly with packaged foods (including wine and chocolate!). He completed his MBA as part of C32 in December 2021 and is currently working part-time at a boutique ESG consulting firm. This summer, he will serve as an EDF Climate Corps fellow at Children’s National Hospital in Washington D.C., focused on sourcing plant-based alternatives for single-use plastic hospital products and evaluating the corresponding financial implications. When he became a first-time father in early 2020, just before the COVID-19 global pandemic, it spurred an urgency to re-envision the food system to address racial and wealth disparity while healing our planet. While he’s predominantly focused on food systems roles, stepping into this career pivot, he’s open to exploring other industries and interested in roles in Sustainable Sourcing, Sustainability Communications, and Sustainability Consulting.
