Presidio Graduate School Vaccination Mandate
As the country emerges from the COVID-19 pandemic, we are remaining vigilant to protect our community and continue to adhere to all applicable public health guidelines. In this document, we communicate our vaccination policy for our staff, faculty, and students and other decisions regarding the participation in school-sponsored in-person events or activities. We will follow real-time public health guidance regarding the use of masks and engagement in physical distancing. Moreover, we will require students, faculty, and staff to receive all doses of the COVID-19 vaccination and clear the two-week post-dose period in order to attend in-person classes or other school-sponsored gatherings. We are issuing these requirements based on the assurances from the Federal government that vaccines will be available for all Americans by the end of May and assessments by public health experts. These measures are critical for us to play our part in reducing viral infections within our community and protecting the most vulnerable among us.
Students, faculty, and staff may request an exemption from vaccination for medical or religious reasons. We will be releasing exemption policies by July 31 for community members whose health issues or sincere religious beliefs stand in the way of vaccination.
Students and faculty enrolled in fully remote online degree programs and individuals participating in remote instruction in the fall will not be required to be vaccinated.
