Yellow Ribbon Program

Presidio Graduate School is proud to support the military student population and their families through its participation in and commitment to the Yellow Ribbon Program, a provision of the Post 9/11 GI Bill, for the 2014-2015 academic year.

The Yellow Ribbon Program allows PGS to enter into agreements with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to fund tuition and fee expenses that exceed the annual per-student private institution cap for the 2014-2015 academic year. Institutions can contribute up to 50% of those expenses and the VA will match this additional funding for eligible students. This may enable qualified students to attend school tuition-free.

Veterans will also generally be eligible for housing allowances in San Francisco.

Please note that Yellow Ribbon Program funding, along with its corresponding match from the VA, replaces any previously awarded institutional grants and/or scholarships. The school’s participation in the Yellow Ribbon Program is re-evaluated annually. In future years the university may elect to change its funding commitment for this program or discontinue participation.

Before submitting an application for consideration, applicants must either be,

  1. A current student in good academic standing, or
  2. Be officially accepted for admission to Presidio Graduate School for the 2014-2015 academic year AND have received a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the VA verifying 100% eligibility for Chapter 33 (Post 9/11 GI Bill) benefits.

Start your application.

Because the Yellow Ribbon Program in most cases will cover full tuition, it cannot be awarded concurrent with the Veterans Scholarship of Presidio.
