DEI in Admissions
Diversifying our admissions pipeline is a long-term commitment from our admissions team, and we are dedicated to ensuring all applicants experience support and inclusivity as they navigate our admissions process.
Over the past few years, Presidio’s admissions team has taken the following steps to incorporate a DEI lens into our admissions work:
- Launched our largest scholarship to date with the John A. Spiekhout scholarship aimed at supporting a student of color.
- Revamped our scholarship process to focus more on diversity, including the addition of our Representation Matters scholarship
- Launched partnerships with nonprofits that represent communities with less access to higher education, such as our Rivet School partnership.
For the 2022-2023 school year, our admissions team continues to be focused on economic access and establishing partnerships with diverse undergraduate institutions such as HBCUs.
