Adam Bergman - Founder and CEO of Bergman Strategic Advisors

Adam Bergman is the founder and CEO of Bergman Strategic Advisors, a company that provides independent strategic advice to CleanTech companies pursuing private and public capital raises, M&A and strategic partnerships. Mr. Bergman is an experienced investment banker who has spent over fifteen years working on U.S. and international financings, as well as cross-border M&A, restructuring and strategic advisory assignments. During the past fifteen years working for leading global investment banks, including Deutsche Bank, Jefferies, JPMorgan, Rothschild and UBS, he has covered the CleanTech, Technology, Industrial and Healthcare sectors.

Mr. Bergman has strong relationships with Global 1000, middle-market and VC-backed companies, as well as leading VC, PE, family office and institutional investors. He has extensive experience with new business development, transaction due diligence, deal execution and structuring, capital raising, advising senior executives and Boards on growth strategies, and communicating results to boards and investors.

As one of the first investment bankers to focus on the CleanTech sector, Mr. Bergman is considered one of the leading subject matter experts, having worked exclusively with CleanTech clients since 2005.

Career Highlights Include:

· Completed over 30 domestic and international financings valued at over $12 billion

· Completed over 20 domestic and cross border M&A, restructuring and strategic advisors assignments valued at over $25 billion

Michael Linse - A Partner with Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers

Michael Linse is a partner with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. He focuses on investments with the Green Growth Fund.

Before joining KPCB in 2009, Michael managed the alternative energy investing team within the European Special Situations Group (ESSG) at Goldman Sachs in London. Michael was responsible for a number of ESSG investments, including the German wind turbine manufacturer Nordex. Michael joined Goldman Sachs in 1997 as an analyst in the Financial Institutions Group, working out of the company’s Frankfurt and Hong Kong offices. In 2002, he joined the Structured and Principal Finance Group in London, where he focused on distressed portfolio transactions. Michael joined ESSG in 2003, initially working on German restructuring situations, then beginning in 2005, on investments in the alternative energy space. He was named managing director in 2007.

Michael earned a B.A. degree in economics from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.


Robert O'Connor - A Corporate Partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati

Robert O'Connor is a corporate partner with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and a leader in the firm's energy and clean technology practice. He was instrumental in establishing this key practice and works with a dedicated team to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.

Bob primarily focuses on the representation of technology enterprises, with an emphasis on those in the clean technology space, in raising capital through private and public debt and equity financings, including their initial public offerings. His practice also includes advising companies in connection with a broad range of mergers and acquisitions and other strategic transactions, as well as the sale, development, and finance of renewable energy projects. In addition, Bob advises many leading venture capital and private equity firms in connection with their portfolio company investments and advises investment banks in connection with initial public offerings and other capital markets transactions.

Bob currently is a member of the firm's Policy Committee.
